Braces
Dr. Rosenthall is a board certified provider of braces and Invisalign in Pendleton and Muncie
Ceramic Braces
Ceramic braces are made of translucent (clear) material. They are most popular with adult patients, due to their cosmetic appeal. The only drawbacks to ceramic brackets are that they are more fragile, and the elastic ties can discolor between orthodontic visits.
Traditional Metal Braces
Metal braces are the most common type. They are made of high-grade stainless steel. We also offer nickel-free brackets as an option. Today's metal braces are smaller, more comfortable and more attractive.
Damon® System
What makes the Damon System different?
- Tie-less braces that don't need to be "tightened" and are gentle to the teeth and tissues.
- High-technology, memory-shape wires that quickly move teeth and require fewer adjustments.
- A clinically proven treatment approach that aligns teeth and enhances facial aesthetics - usually without extractions or rapid palatal expanders.
Fast treatment time and few office visits
With the Damon® System, treatment time is typically shorter than with traditional braces. Shorter treatment time means fewer appointments and a beautiful smile...faster. You may be surprised at how fast.
Outstanding comfort
The days of having braces tightened are over. The Damon® System uses tie-less brackets that reduce the pressure on your teeth, allowing them to move more comfortably to their correct positions. This innovative approach to orthodontics ensures greater comfort throughout treatment.
Dr. Roseenthall has been closely involved in the development of the Damon system.
Lingual Braces
Having braces doesn't mean you have to have a "tin grin." Our office also uses lingual braces, which attach to the lingual side (tongue side) of your teeth. These appliances are well-suited for adults, who may worry about the aesthetic nature of regular metal braces.
Lingual braces are also custom-fit for your teeth and treatment plan. While the fronts of your teeth are fairly consistent, the back side of each tooth has its own distinctive shape. Thus, each bracket must be manufactured for each individual patient.
You can receive the dramatic results of orthodontic treatment without anyone knowing, as the braces are virtually invisible. Ask us if lingual braces are right for you.
